Judges comments were:

“Boldly ridden test. Now needs to develop the balance for the higher marks”

Only our second Novice test – so really pleased with 67.14% – even with a 4 for the medium trot – due to breaking into canter. If I’d ridden that movement better (and got a 6 which was the mark for the second medium trot) we would have won pretty convincingly. I was also pleased with getting a 7.5 for my riding! Thanks to Ibby for my awesome flat work lesson on Wednesday to prepare me for the comp.

The winner scored 67.5% – with no mistakes. Need to make sure I don’t make mistakes in the future!
