First time out in the trailer since the “trailer trauma” at Eland Lodge! Nash travelled like a pro! The show was fairly close, held in the Monument Field at Stanford Hall, near Lutterworth.
We arrived in plenty of time – but the day was running slow, so entered the 90cm SJ class, and thought we might do another if the class did not take too long….. Well the class did take a long time, so ended up just doing the one class – but it was madeup of 2 rounds – second round being the jump off.
Nash was just great today – relaxed, calm, attentive: like a seasoned pro! We warmed up and then went in for our first round – which was a bit scrappy, but he jumped CLEAR (according to Lynsey – his first clear round on grass)!!
We went in for the second round and I had decided just to go for a steady double clear. He had one fence down, but otherwise a more fluid round I think.
Nash ended up in the ribbons – coming 5th! The photo was taken from the South KIlworth RC facebook page – and was available for free download. Thanks to all at South Kilworth RC!
